I went to chicago to visit T. from the air sometimes the ground looked like someone took a bedazzling machine to it. I was abandoned in the o'hare airport for like, an hour. abandoned. I had to use all my street smarts to survive. chicago tore me up. the weather was not bad. the tree coverage was acceptable. I think my most vigorous memory was when everyone would collectively shuffle their feet on the sidewalk after crossing the street to scrape off the new asphalt that melted stuck attacked the bottom of their shoes. I liked that.
now I'm packing up my life to feed to texas by early sunday morning.
